The focus of these programs is not to master skills and techniques, even though skills and techniques may be taught, but to connect to self and others through stories, music, art, and the creative process. Stories are used as the jumping off point for exploration as they provide such rich ground for learning and insight into the human spirit.

Creating a container where all kids feel safe, respected, and connected is a top priority in HeartFull Creative programs, as safety and connection allow for the magic of creativity and collaboration to flow freely.

Parent participation is considered on a case by case basis and is welcome provided it supports rather than detracts from the experience of the group.

Kindness and respectful communication are expected of all children and adults who participate.
